"Gravity" oil on canvas by Synthia Saint James
Greetings to all our Gravity 180 fans and music lovers everywhere! After a three year labor of love, we are proud to announce the release of our latest CD. We were blessed with a wonderful team for this project, beginning with our Co-producers, Nils and Eddie Brown and we sincerely thank them as well as our family, friends and fellow muscians without whose generosity, talent and support this CD could not have been made.
With this project we wanted to expand our musical horizons while still maintaining the core essence of the band and we couldn't be happier with the end results. All in all, this is our best effort to date, so we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we did making it. The CD is now available to purchase on the store page.
People, turn it on and crank it up!
Love and best wishes,
The Gravity 180 Family.

It will be a night of Positive Music and Smooth Jazz that should not be missed.

Almost everyone would agree that Boomers have great taste in music. They have created some of the best American popular music of all time and many of these great artists are still out there doing their thing well into their 60’s. After all, we are the generation that will be going strong well into our 70’s, 80’s and beyond. We’ve got that “we a’int done yet” attitude and that means not only can we keep on doing our thing, but we can even start a whole new one.
Where is it written that only 20 something’s can deliver something new? When we started this project we were determined to do just that and to finally get on record the sound that was uniquely ours, that blend of Pop, R&B, Latin and Jazz with a dash of Rock and even Reggae. All these influences are a part of what we do. It’s not old school and it’s not new school. It is music with a message and we think it's best described as simply GRAVITY music.
Though we feel it can be enjoyed by anyone, it was particularly important to us that our contemporaries could relate to the music and we proudly admit that the Boomers are our target audience.
We are blessed to have Nils with all his talents and Eddie Brown, our long time co-writer and producer as co-producers of the CD. Thank you guys for steering a true course. We would also like to thank the many talented friends who contributed to the project; it could not have been done without you.
We are excited about the prospect of getting our music out there and we hope that after listening, you will share our enthusiasm. Please check out the new Gravity 180 MySpace. There is always something new there!
