Percussionist Oliver C. Brown's first break started with TK Records as one of the original members of "KC and the Sunshine Band" where he participated in the recording of several platinum and gold records. After moving to Los Angeles, he expanded his musical horizons by recording with such artists as Nancy Wilson, Jermaine Jackson, The Whispers, Sly Stone, Cal Bennett, Dennis Wilson (The Beach Boys), Doug Macleod, Billy Preston and many other Motown and Warner Brothers recording artists. Brown has been in concert appearances with Leo Sayer, Al Jarreau, Evelyn Champaign King, Glenn Yarbrough, John Stewart, Billy Preston, The Christy Minstrels, The Mick Fleetwood Blue Whale Blues Band and Fleetwood Mac / The photo below on the left shows Oliver on the far right hand corner in a live television performance in London England at the BBC.
